My name is Kimberly A. Lessey and I am an artist serving the Cleveland and Akron area.

I've been an artist since the age of 5 when my grandmother used to cut out the "learn to draw" section on the Mini-Page of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. I was infamous throughout high school for drawing Odie from the Garfield comic from memory in about 10 seconds. In college, at the University of Akron, I had four different art majors ranging from art education to graphic design. After taking one photography class I was hooked.

I treat each photograph as it's own piece of art. While I love being out taking photographs, I'm always anxious to get started on the editing process. I enjoy mixing traditional photography with digital editing to create my own style of art. I have a wide range of subject matter - I will shoot just about anything and everything I think will make a great piece of artwork and give each piece the time and love needed to make it perfect.

When I'm not out documenting the world, you can find me on the computer playing online RPG games, watching Spongebob Squarepants with my two sons, or at a local club listening to some good heavy metal music. On second thought, you'll probably find me with a camera in my hand there, too.
